One can put that number on bluedio's website to authenticate the product. It has some sort of hologram sticker with a scratch card at the back which reveals a number. Couple more are there but either silent or in some other foreign language. There is an unboxing view but it is pretty shoddy and the reviewer I think does not speak anything. I believe Bluedio is one of the better Chinese brands and has been selling BT headsets for quiet many years. I had used Chinese brands before so I was comfortable buying another one.

But what I liked about that Bluetooth was that it had this clip so I can just clip the unit on my shirt / tshirt and can use a shorter earphones to be as much wire free as possible. The one I was using till now is a cheap Chinese BCK-08 clip type which looks like iPod shuffle.
